Hold on to your helmets, road racers! The NZSBK Championship is expanding to five rounds in 2019, with the addition of Manfeild to the second half of the calendar. Great news for motorsport fans too – Circuit Chris Amon at Manfeild is the longest motor racing course with uninterrupted views in the Southern Hemisphere.
The 3km international race circuit, named for kiwi racing legend Chris Amon who oversaw the design of the superfast layout, is known for it banked corners, a unique feature for a NZ motor-racing circuit. 2018 saw some fast and furious racing with tight battles in most classes; the action at Manfeild is sure to offer more of the same.
